The Problem

Everyone has a different version of the data, and that's the problem they are facing. Version 1 of the river networks from the crew is a version 5 on the GIS analyst. This causes problems that communication needs to refine. Also, errors and mistakes from a single data set of multiple technicians require rollback of the initial version due to errors and mistakes they have. Also, the storage when one GIS technician resigns and leaves the office.

The Solution

Their team integrates all data into one single truth that accepts all the data into one cloud storage. Created a WebGIS in Leaflet with Chart.js as the analytics. Also created a dedicated QGIS plugin since most recipients used a lot of open-source tools for budget. And lastly, created a mobile GIS specific for data collection, an offline-first approach.

The Result

Everyone is working cooperatively and even 20% faster than before.
